Help.. I'm not crafty

Ok. So I think I can totally make all those cute little girl head bands and flowers but I am having the hardest time trying to find all the pieces, does anyone know where I could find them or any helpful tips on making them. I also just saw the cutest little tu-tu, does anyone know how to make those? there is no way I am paying what they want for those! So thats it, I am just trying to kill time while I sit at home waiting for Brooklynn.
THANKS!!!!

  1. Here's my 2 cents:
Grab the alligator clips for the flowers at a beauty supply store. They are ALWAYS gone at craft stores.
Don't be afraid to break the flowers. Cut them apart, and if they fall apart too much, it's nothing hot glue can't fix.
All you need for the tutus is elastic and strips of tulle, which you tie on all around it. It shouldn't cost more than $10 for sure. Hopefully that helps!!

  2. Yep I do! What exactly are you wanting to make? I have made tutu's (Jamie is really good too), flowers, korkers, and many more!

  3. My mom knows how to make the colorful tu-tus I'll ask her how, I know it's super easy and it enolves the tule in rolls. And then the other day I saw some of the flower clips all made up at Roberts, I didn't check the price, but if you use a 40% off they might be pretty cheap. I once went to an enrichment that we made the clips and baby bows, and everybody was taking a ribbon and just hot glueing it to the clip, and then putting a bow or flower on it, but some just left it like that, with alittle knot on top.

  4. By the way. Tulle is on sale at Hobby lobby this week and ribbon is 50%. I usually wait for it to go on sale or take a 40% off coupon-much more affordable. I buy a lot of my flowers at the dollar store (very cheap) or wait for them to go on sale. Be sure to buy some cute buttons or jewels to hide where you hot glue them together. Sally's Beauty Supply sells a box of 100 clips for $5 (last week they were on sale for $4, maybe they still are). Just try searching on line and you can find step by step instructions. That's where I started.
